A six-hour botanical day tour with a bilingual guide

Discover the plant life of Colombia’s Western Andes at El Refugio. The reserve brings together upper cloud forest, lower secondary forest enriched with trees, palms, ferns and anthuriums, and a garden cultivated in a natural setting.

Look closely at orchids, bromeliads and Andean blueberries, and learn about plants known locally for their medicinal uses, including quereme, tilo and yacón.
